2018 General Insurance Public Survey

Closes 31 Jul 2018

Opened 10 Jul 2018

Overview

This survey is seeking feedback from members of the public on their experiences in purchasing insurance products and when making claims on their insurance.

It is hoped that responses will identify common trends, which will be explored by the Commission in a thematic review of Guernsey insurance brokers later this summer. The review poses the question “Are customers treated fairly?”. The Commission will release its conclusions on this question, which will include the results of the public survey, later this year.

All questions are optional. Unless otherwise stated, please select the most appropriate answer to each question. Where more than one answer is possible, please select all answers that apply.

The survey should take around 10 minutes to complete and can be submitted anonymously.

We would ask that the survey is only completed if you either:

  1. Live in the Bailiwick of Guernsey; or
  2. Buy insurance from a Guernsey insurance broker.

As a thank you for taking your time to complete the survey, you have the opportunity in the final question to nominate a registered charity of your choice.  All nominated charities will be entered into a draw and one charity, selected at random, will receive a donation of £50.
